Sealing Rings

Flextron offers both gaskets and individual O-ring seals. These components can be used as both static and dynamic gaskets. They are remarkable due to their high elasticity and thus are also ideal for use in pistons, cylinders and shafts or as parts of a flange attachment. Moreover, we also have several years of expertise in the manufacturing of sealing rings made from medical grade silicone (VQM). They can be used for example, for vibration damping.

We produce in-house variety of different compounds from chosen manufacturers. This allows us to give you a range of materials and to refine the chemical and mechanical characteristics of the elastomers and to tailor them to their particular use.

Sealing ring types

We create two styles of seal ring: the stationary seal ring and the adaptive seal ring. The static sealing ring stands up to its name as it does not shift, even when the fluctuation is triggered by the force of the cycle. Sealing rings that are prone to rotation are responsive sealing rings.

Uses of seal rings

High-pressure sealing

High-pressure tolerance is a standard prerequisite for industrial o-rings, along with stable performance in high temperature and volatile conditions. In order for the high-pressure seal to operate at an optimum stage, the design and manufacture of the o-ring again rely on the choice of particular materials for improved performance under particular conditions.


An engine o-ring, particularly one utilized in high-performance or turbo engines, is a great example of a component that needs to be durable enough in materials and construction structure to satisfy different demanding specifications in terms of temperature, stress and chemical functionality.
